To guarantee best results when applying namestickers we recommend that you read through these guidelines, a wrongly applied sticker can easily fall off from the clothes when washed or can damage the clothes.
A correctly applied name sticker can last for years and will not fade or break apart, neither from washing it in 60 degrees or running it through the dishwasher.
When you are applying the namestickers you need to be careful when lifting it off the sheet. You should gently bend the sticker sheet so the name sticker starts peeling off by itself.
When you lift it off, make sure it doesn't fold and stick to itself, if that happens, then the glue might have less than optimal stickiness for usage
For best result, apply the sticker on the laundry advice label that usually sits in the neck or on the inside of the clothes
The laundry advice label must be made out of polyester and have a smooth surface. If the label is of another material or has a rough textured source, the name sticker might have problems sticking.
After you have applied the sticker, we recommend you wait at least 24 hours before washing, if you don’t wait. the glue might not have had time to become strong enough.
We do not recommend applying the stickers on the actual clothing material, the sticker only attaches to the shallow threads of the clothing and is easily ripped off.
We don’t recommend applying the stickers to socks, the stretching and material of socks does not work well with the glue and they will easily come off from usage or washing.
We strongly recommend not applying any name stickers on knitted or wool cloth that does not have a landry advice label. If you attach the stickers on the clothing it might rip the threads and damage your clothes.
To apply name stickers on toys, water bottles or other things, we recommend it having a hard surface and non porous surface. We recommend a plastic, metallic or glass surface for best results.
The surface must be clean for best results. Fat, fingerprints and dust can reduce the effectiveness of the glue and make it much easier for it to come off when coming in contact with water or during rough use.
Do not apply the stickers on leather, paper, wallpaper or cardboard if you are expected to want to remove the sticker. The glue will damage the material when removed.
On a newly applied sticker or on a sticker applied to a clothing laundry label , you can peel it off with just your fingernail or a pincer.
If the sticker has been applied for a long time, try to do the same, but very gently to not damage the clothing or item. If you notice that the sticker comes off in small pieces, the glue adhesiveness is too strong and trying to rip off more pieces might damage the material..
In the case of it not coming off easily, we recommend buying a glue and label remover from an office supply store. Make sure the chemical can be used on the material you want to remove your sticker from.
